Becoming a tutor on TuitionBox is straightforward and transparent. We focus on academic standards, safeguarding, and fair pricing, without commission-based fees that inflate lesson costs or reduce tutor earnings.
- Apply and verification: Submit your application with details of your qualifications, teaching experience, and subjects offered. All tutors are reviewed before approval.
- Safeguarding checks: Tutors must provide an enhanced DBS check and complete identity verification before being listed on the platform.
- Set your own rates: TuitionBox does not take commission on lessons. You set transparent hourly rates without platform fees pushing prices up for students or reducing your income.
- Respond to enquiries: Once approved, you can respond to student enquiries and arrange lessons directly, in line with your availability.
